Is this a refurb phone from Google?

Lorenz H. Seller
- Nov 19, 2017 - 11:57 AM

Hi Erik,
It is not refurbished. It is a brand new device, like one purchased from Google directly.
The box has been opened only to get the picture you see here (to check that the phone is functional).

- Nov 26, 2017 - 02:25 PM

Hi Erik! Would you sell it for 550?

Lorenz H. Seller
- Nov 27, 2017 - 08:36 AM

Hello Shmuel B.,
thank you for your interest. $550 is unfortunately not an option.
the phone is brand new. in box. never used. purchased from Google directly.
comes with 15 additional protective cases.
Thanks

@Shmuel B.
can you do $600?
also, is this international shipping or to the US?

Dec 23, 2017 - 02:20 AM

Hey Lorenz, are you willing to negotiate or are you firm on your price?

- Dec 25, 2017 - 08:57 PM

Can you do 450$? I'm ready to buy.

Lorenz H. Seller
- Dec 26, 2017 - 08:19 AM

Hello, i'm willing to negotiate. but i don't want to go cheap, as this is an untouched phone. i literally received it from google, and put it up for sale. i only took a photo for this site. other than taht, it's unused, unlocked, scratch free, etc...
and it comes with a bunch of cases, so you can have a different one every day for like 2 weeks straight...

Jerald and Sai,
are either of you willing to do $500?
please remember that shipping goes on top of the selling price. it's shipping out of south florida. you can let me know the speed of the shipping.
thanks

Hi,

I might be interested but I live in Canada, can you tell me what the actual cost would be for the phone including shipping and conversion ?

Regards,

Canada is very big. can you narrow it down to a city or at least a province?

Dec 29, 2017 - 08:30 AM

Of course, Quebec City to be precise.

Lorenz H. Seller
- Dec 29, 2017 - 08:31 AM

to montreal it's about $31 CAN$ ($25 USD)

Lorenz H. Seller
- Dec 29, 2017 - 08:36 AM

same price to quebec city.
we could do,
475 USD + 25 USD = 500 USD
about $628 CAN
6-10 business days. ship with USPS

Lorenz H. Seller
- Dec 29, 2017 - 08:40 AM

if that's agreeable to you, i'll adjust the price to $500 on this site, and will ship once you confirm

Hi you write you “received it” from Google it’s a bit confusing if it was to replace they usually send refurbished. Can you elaborate how you “received” a brand new phone and did not purchase it? Thanks

Lorenz H. Seller
- Jan 01, 2018 - 11:39 AM

"received", as in arrived at my place after i purchased it. the word 'received' is merely a description of an action. (the physical action of arriving at my place of living, after i have purchased it from the google store).
;-)
it is most definitely NOT refurbished.

- Jan 01, 2018 - 12:23 PM

From your comments I see you have a great sense of humor - thanks i will think a bit have to rush out for an hour

Lorenz H. Seller
- Jan 01, 2018 - 12:40 PM

no worries...
phone is sitting in a drawer, waiting for attention ;)

Jan 01, 2018 - 04:07 PM

If this is still available I will buy it from you right now :) I live in Alberta Canada, hopefully that is no problem :)

Lorenz H. Seller
- Jan 01, 2018 - 07:04 PM

Hello Ocean May,
press the buy it now button, and i'll mail it to you, all charges included.
i can mail it tomorrow.
thanks

Jan 02, 2018 - 04:35 PM

Hi Lorenz, is the phone under any warranty still? Are you able to include the original purchase receipt from Google?

Lorenz H. Seller
- Jan 02, 2018 - 05:29 PM

no receipt. I imagine it's covered with IMEI#, but unsure.

I bought a Pixel. It had issues. google sent me refurbished one. issues again. so they sent brand new device.
Then i decided i wanted the pixel 2, and didn't want to send it back. I did buy it, after all.
So now, i had a new, unused phone, which i no longer wanted. This all happened about 1-2 months ago.
In other words, i have, in my possession, a fully functional, non-refurbished, brand new, unused phone. And i'm selling it at a reduced rate than what you can buy online. Especially considering it's a color scheme and size that is currently out of stock at the google store.
So, if you want silver - 5", you can buy mine. it's fine. there's nothing wrong with it. it's as if you had purchased it from google directly - brand new, scratch free, unused.
Since Google is currently, and has been, out of stock for 2 months already of this particular model, this is a chance for you to buy a very good phone at an excellent price.

- Jan 02, 2018 - 05:32 PM

oh, and, as a bonus, i'm throwing in 15 cases for you to change the look of the phone every day for 2 weeks straight, so....

Jan 02, 2018 - 05:37 PM

Hey Lorenz, I ask about the original purchase receipt because Google's website says: "To make a claim under the Limited Warranty, contact Google support. We’ll need your name, contact information and the IMEI number on the packaging and in the SIM tray. You will need to provide a purchase receipt."

So if this one has issues too (sounds like there are a few lemons out there) then I'd like to be able to contact them the same way you did.

Lorenz H. Seller
- Jan 02, 2018 - 06:01 PM

actually yea. i do have a receipt. it shows that i paid $793.94 + $44.94 tax. on 11/14/17
so, i paid $838.88, and i'm selling it for $515.

so, yea. i rest my case. the more i'm writing about it, the more i want to raise the price again...

Jan 02, 2018 - 06:21 PM

Depreciation stinks :(

So are you willing to include the receipt with the sale? I'll pull the trigger if so.

Lorenz H. Seller
- Jan 02, 2018 - 06:54 PM

yeeeeeeees. the receipt will be printed out tomorrow and placed in the box. promise.

Lorenz H. Seller
- Jan 02, 2018 - 06:55 PM

wait, where are you? where do i sent it? cause shipping can get pricey

Jan 02, 2018 - 06:59 PM

I'm in St. Louis, MO. Swappa says the listing is on temporary "buy lock" so it won't let me

Lorenz H. Seller
- Jan 02, 2018 - 06:59 PM

what? thta's BS. after all that???
lemme look into it. MO sounds fine.

Lorenz H. Seller
- Jan 02, 2018 - 07:00 PM

Swappa, help, please.

Jan 02, 2018 - 07:00 PM

Help, Swappa!

Joe__ Staff
Jan 02, 2018 - 07:02 PM

The Buy Lock means someone else is attempting to purchase the device. If they don't go through with it, the Buy Lock will eventually clear out of the system, allowing other users to make the purchase. Please give it 15 minutes or so and try again. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Lorenz H. Seller
- Jan 02, 2018 - 07:03 PM

aw man. Mark, i'm sorry. in all fairness, you deserve the phone...
keep trying. i don't have control over this...

Jan 02, 2018 - 07:09 PM

Got it, Lorenz!

Lorenz H. Seller
- Jan 02, 2018 - 07:10 PM
