Hey, just wanted to let you know that I tried to purchase. Paypal told me that you weren't able to receive payments from them. I therefore had to use my eBay account to get one and I had wanted to purchase yours. With PayPal if you are a seller they require you to have a regular account but they also then require you to get a business PayPal account. It's a free account for selling and they even send you a Paypal debit card to make purchases with. If this is not the issueand you have the buisness account, then you might want to check with them and see what's going on.
Brian, I have seen it happen to a couple other sellers on here recently, check you account link settings to paypal. I don't have a business account as a seller on here, never heard of that. May have to have a credit account.
I'm telling you, that is what PayPal told me. When I started selling through other channels, before I could accept payments, I had to get a buisness account. It has nothing to do with swappa. I tried using my PayPal and couldn't. That's why I had to buy elsewhere. On your sales page you require a Paypal verified address. I use PayPal all the time. It's a way for companies like swappa to process debit card payments.
If PayPal is denying the payment, 99% of the time it is because the buyer does not have a PayPal confirmed address as required by the listing (or is not selecting the confirmed address when paying). Other sales are going through fine, so it's not a problem with the site. I tried to purchase an item and you can clearly see my address is confirmed. Paypal told me he is not able to accept payments through them. I tried purchasing the item.
I have purchased two items on swappa using a CONFIRMED address and I don't want to see this seller miss out on other opportunities.
Brian, if you go to the bottom of this page and click about swappa, you'll see the PayPal logo and under it it says buyers and sellers transact safely and directly using paypal
Brian I have seen this before on a couple people who had confirmed, I sent a copy of the message to Swappa, never did figure out what it was, error messages are not uncommon either. I let people know when appropriate, as I would expect someone to let me know. trying to help.
