Unlocked Nexus 6p 128gb in Frosted White Good Condition

Selling my Unlocked Nexus 6P 128gb in Frosted White. Phone has always had a tempered glass screen protector and phone case. I will be including a Verizon branded fast charger instead of the OEM one. I will also include the box and an extra tempered glass screen protector as well. The phone has small scratches near the charging port but please refer to the photos for condition. The phone works great but the phone shuts down early around 25percent battery life. I read its probably either a software bug or battery degradation. Anyways I actually have 2 Nexus 6Ps. I was hoping to replace the battery myself on both phones, but apparently Im not very good at it. So I am selling this one with a brand new battery if you feel skilled enough to replace it yourself. I have made no attempts to change the battery on this phone. I will also throw in a phone case.

What software version is this currently on? Did the battery issues start after updating or has it been on a steady decline? Thanks

- Jun 29, 2017 - 08:37 AM

it is currently 7.12 security patch level June 5th 2017. The battery issue seemed to start after Nougat but to be on the safe side I would just switch out the battery. That seems to be the consensus online.

Would you be willing to take $300 if I supplied the shipping label? (I'm in Chicago)

- Jun 29, 2017 - 12:34 PM

I like to ship it myself. I can do $320 shipped via priority insured.

What's really holding me back is the battery. I've seen the vids on these swaps. They can very easily go bad, damaging the back/cover to get to the screws, cracking the glass over the camera, or accidentally severing a cable while going around the edges. You're exterior looks great. I doubt the phone would come out unscathed if I tried it, and I'd like to take the phone to a shop with the right tools to do the replacement.

My first Nexus 6p was damaged while doing the swap. I accidentally sliced the video cable. It's definitely something that will require expertise

Yeah, that's the exact cable I'm afraid of hitting. Sorry for your loss :(

Why don't you send the phone in for warranty? There's a class action lawsuit against Huawei and Google for this exact issue. You'd probably get a better replacement that you could sell, and should only cost you time

I upgraded to the galaxy s8+, so this phone is literally just taking up space. Thank you for the tip.
