Hey Clayton, I'm interested in buying, but I'd just like to clarify what carrier this was on before it got unlocked. I currently own an M7 unlocked from Sprint and I can only get mobile internet at GSM speeds because my local network provider (Digicel, Jamaica) provides their 4G services at, im not sure, think it was the 1900 band, and after some research I found that Sprint meant for the 4G to be used on their CDMA networks. Bummer, but with all that explanation, I just wanted to make sure that this was not from Sprint, but an international version. Was it?

It was originally a Sprint phone. I myself used it on Ting which uses the Sprint network and it gets 4G LTE speeds here in the US, but yes it is on the CDMA networks.

Hello, would this phone be unlocked for use with cricket? You mentioned sim card. But is it gsm unlocked? Thank you

My understanding is that the LTE is what requires the SIM card on the CDMA network. It is not GSM. Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular use the CMDA network. This includes all their resellars, i.e. Ting is super cheap, you only pay for what you use, but it uses Sprints network. Exact same network/tower/etc.
I know nothing about Cricket. Any carriers should be able to tell you if a particular phone will work on their network.
Thanks
