Underrated in purchasing the phone. However I'm a college student. I'm at my school which causes my shopping address to differ from my billing address with PayPal. What are my options

I'm not really clear on Swappa or Paypal's policy on shipping to an address that's different from the billing address. I read Swappa's policy on shipping and I didn't see this issue discussed. William, I suggest that you contact Paypal first and find out what options they provide. Paypal is your last line of protection in case there are problems. Would Swappa Staff like to comment? As a seller, my main requirement is that the shipping address has to be in the U.S.

Ok. Swappa seems to recommend following Paypal's shipping recommendation, which is to ship only to the Paypal confirmed address. William, I think it's best to contact Paypal to find out how to have your college address confirmed. I'm sure this is not the first time that Paypal has encountered this issue. The confirmation may take time and you may end up not getting this phone. But ultimately, this would protect you from shipping mishaps. Thanks Robert N. for your response.

William M., I spoke with PayPal and was told by them that you can specify a mailing address that's different from you billing address. I believe after you purchased the phone and the PayPal payment has gone through, you have the option to confirm your mailing address. You should be able to update your mailing address at that point to your school address. Can a Swappa Staff please confirm if this is correct?

William, you will need to make sure the address is verified before purchase by updating it on Paypal's website before purchase.

BC, once you purchase a phone and submit the payment, you will be sent to a "sale" link. The "sale" webpage provides the ESN number. You can check whether a phone works on RingPlus with the ESN, so I suppose you could activate the phone with it as well. The phone does not come with a Sprint SIM card, so I can't provide an ICCID number. None of the phones that I have sold or purchased on Swappa came with the SIM card. My understanding is that to activate a phone on a new account requires a new SIM card. Please confirm this with RingPlus. I hope that I've answered your question adequately.

BC, a quick tip on the SIM card. You can see if an Apple Store would provide a SIM card for you for free. Alternatively, Ting sells the same SIM card cheaper than RP. Good luck with your phone shopping.
