"Buy lock" happens when someone is trying to purchase the listing, but the purchase has not completed. It generally lasts about 5 mins then resets. You can keep trying until it says sold.

Is this purchased originally from Apple store as unlocked ? Sorry for too many questions - I am planning to use in Asia but dont want to stuck with "SIM-FREE" models which mean they come unlocked but gets locked on activation.

Just how it states in the link. This model is compatible with gsm and cdma networks. It’s known as a global phone due to working anywhere. The question if it’s Working at that country’s networks is a different question and I can’t answer that since I do not work for a carrier. Perhaps Swappa staff can provide some more feedback.
