Hi, can you tell me what the actual amount of formatted storage available for this device is as well as the amount of storage allocated to apps? I was planning on getting a 32GB tablet but the price is to high for one.
The amount of storage available for apps is 11.5GB. There is an SD card slot though for pics, movies, etc.
I'm so sorry to ask you all these questions, for some reason Sony thought it would be a good idea to have no retail locations around where I live (Chicago) display this device. When you go to settings, then apps, at the bottom of the screen should show something called Application Storage with a Used and Free amount. Can you please tell me what this amount is because sadly this portion of the storage is not expandable via an SD card.
No worries at all. I know exactly what you mean, what is the available to us, the end user, to use. I'm about 95% sure its 11.5GB (after sony takes its cut away from the 16GB), but i wont know 100% until i get home from work tonight. When i get home i'll take a picture of it and put it up here. Is that alright?
