Cases are part of the deal because I no longer need them, which is why unlike other sellers I'm also including the OEM charger.

$240 is a good deal, I looked at other listings and mint phones without defects are $250+ some are not even the owners but resellers so you have no history on device.

I will consider the offers when phone has been on Craigslist and swappa for at least a week. I have local offers for $200 and in no rush to sell. It hasn't even been 24 hours.. lots of interest so far.

Since this is rooted and running a custom ROM, I take it the bootloader has been unlocked and has TWRP installed? What version of the ROM is installed? Thank you.

The bootloader is locked but I have loaded safestrap TWRP which allows you load custom ROMs.

The ROM is Optimal ROM 4.4.4 Kit Kat

Yeah I don't go for the crazy ROMs just stock with bloat removed. They are most stable for me and increase speed and battery life. ..

how long was the phone used? since you're running stock, what is the average usage you get on a daily basis before it gets to the 10% or so mark? need to know if you can get through a day of normal use without recharging.. interested @$225

I can personally get through one day of use without charging but it's all dependent on your usage. I have never needed to charge when I take a day out and don't have access to a charger. I would look into s5 reviews and see how battery life is for device... since the custom rom I'm running removes bloat ware it gets even better battery life then advertised.

Yes I'm using usps priority mail which includes insurance and tracking, I will also be paying for signature required delivery.

ROM is the software that would be your stock phone running the software that came with the phone.

Phones then get rooted and loaded with custom software for various optimizations in my case I loaded a custom rom that tries to remain stock and most improvements are removing extra applications that decrease speed and battery. These are considered bloat ware loaded by verizon and samsung.

If all this is too much I can bring back to stock running latest software version.

Here's a description of the ROM I am using by the creator:

It doesn't lock up its just a stock ROM but with bloat ware removed.

Does the ROM remove the MyVerizon app that shows you the data usage widget? I use that a lot, and wondering if the OptimalROM eliminates it, since it IS a Verizon App. Again, interested at 225...

No that is still there is used it as well to monitor calling minutes, one cool feature I added because of root is the ability to hot spot without paying for that service... I had unlimited data so I'm not sure if the newer plans include hot spot as additional fee.

I'm also throwing a pandora app with no ads, unlimited skips and ability to download the songs you are hearing. A lot of people don't know about this so it's a really cool app. I added picture.

I'll do 230 Sunday morning and change the price here since I have this in Craigslist as well with a lot of interest..

Kevin I forgot to write about water, I never tested it's waterproof ability. I was too scared reading people online saying water can go through and warranty didn't cover water damage... so I never risked it.

is the ROM stable? I'm def interested since i hate Samsung/VZW crapware... the phone is for my wife, so she's going to give me grief if it crashes all the time! If you do the 230 right now and ship today, i'm in. It's a little more than i want to pay, but i appreciate the responses you've been giving.

I can't recall one time that it has crashed it is incredibly stable that is why I never updated to lollipop.... it was pure perfection and did everything I wanted it to. I can't ship today because I'm working and won't be back until the night when it's closed.

Remember I can switch to stock before shipping please let me know. If you are not happy you will have to browse xda on how to revert back to stock. Although I doubt you will be unhappy it's a great rom.

I've alerted Swappa staff, to see if they can help. Since they don't allow PM, someone else literally screwed me out of an agreed-to-transaction. It's almost like a bot was waiting to hit Buy as soon as you dropped the price on the item, since i hit buy about ONE MINUTE after you updated the price.

Swappa - please post some insight into why this is allowed; it's unfair to both parties here - Swappa gets the sale fee either way.

Thrifty Swappa is a first come first serve marketplace, unfortunately someone beat you to the purchase here and the seller must fulfill their end of the purchase. As with any site where people are able to bid or haggle their will be snipers who swoop in at the last second as soon as the price changes. Sometimes it's easier to just pay a slightly higher price.
