Hi, can you report back the cycle count?

To find out what your MacBook's battery cycle is, go to About This Mac > System Report, and select the Power tab, under Hardware. In the right panel, you will find the Cycle Count.

Can you please also post a screenshot of the warranty: https://checkcoverage.apple.com/

Thank you.

Robbie - current cycle count is 16. It's currently charing and I still need to erase the hard drive, so this may increase but not by much.

Added screenshots of battery info and warranty status.

Thanks for the info. Would you do $1750 buy it now?

Thanks for the offer Robbie! I'm going to decline for now. I see that $1750 is the current average for this model, but it's safe to assume many of those sold without AppleCare coverage. The extra $75 for two+ years of coverage is well worth it! However, if you find a comparable listing at that price, I'd be happy to cut that deal.

Forgive my ignorance, but should the Overview screenshot show Radeon 370X as the graphics card or the Intel Iris Pro? I believe you though :)

- Feb 20, 2017 - 06:25 PM

No problem about the decline... I was basing the $1750 price off of some recent Ebay listings that sold. And there was one guy who sold a mint 2.8 for $1685 but I think that was just a steal. Thanks again.

Yeah, I noticed that about the graphics card info. I think OS X automatically switches between a built-in and a dedicated card based on demand. I attached the Graphics panel of System Info so you can see that both are there.

And I think this one's a steal too! Hope you reconsider.
