Go to the App Store and download Battery Doctor or Battery Saver. See if you can run a test of it or plug it in to charge to test longevity!
The iPad apps for checking the battery seemed really lousy. I found a Mac app called iMazing which generated device info and I have attached what I think are the pertinent parts.

I'm extremely interested in purchasing your iPad. My only problem is that I have to wait until I can list and sell my iPad Pro 9.7. The 9.7 is too small for work and school for me. I am a guarantee purchase as soon as my product is sold, but I cannot ask you to wait for me.
Chase-that's great news! I'm sure you'll love the bigger Pro. What I can do is to wait for the full time for this listing to expire on 6/26 before I try another way to sell it. If someone else offers to buy it here in the mean time I will have to accept their offer though. Good luck selling your little Pro.
