Charles I promise not to get under your skin...lol. Mu question is about the phone being rooted. Some tell me it opens the door to maximizing the device's capabilities. Some others tell me it's dangerous and unnecessary. I'm definitely in the market. Could use your advice or clarity.
It can be dangerous in the wrong hands. If you know what you are doing it opens up a world of possibilities for customization. Every Android phone I've had had been rooted and I've never had a bricked phone. This one is already rooted, so the dangerous part for you is done. Although it is a Nexus, it's meant to be rooted.
