I'm interested in this phone. I just want to make sure it will work with verizon wireless acct. I see that it is unlocked. Im not familiar with all this. My sons phone was stolen from school & i need something for him. Will I just be able to call Verizon, give them the info (MEID #) & they will be able to attach it to his phone number? Just making sure before I purchase. Thanks

Hi Lisa, happy holidays. Yes this phone will definitely work with Verizon. You're also right about just having to call Verizon and giving them the MEID or IMEI (not sure which one) of the phone to activate it. This phone is originally from Verizon actually. It will work with Verizon (with no issues what so ever) and also work with other carriers like T-mobile/AT&T if you or your son ever decide to change carriers. He could use this phone with those carriers also (so he doesn't need to buy a new phone). "Unlocked" means it's not locked to just one phone carrier (may be used internationally also). Usually when you buy a phone from a phone carrier it's "locked" to that one specific carrier and can't be used with anyone else or internationally so you have to buy a new phone. Hope that helps.
