just one question. where did you get this from? hope it was not amazon. I am looking to unlock the bootloader and amazon version thats not possible.

It is my understanding that there are essentially two versions of the phone - an Android One version that comes if you purchase the phone through Google for Fi, and a non-Android One version. The Android One version is supposed to more-pure android with faster updates or something.

Hey munchy, does the non-unlockable bootloader apply only to the amazon-sourced phones or are phones from moto direct also not unlockable?

Ron, I don't beloeve it is Android One, I had never hesrdof this before. @Munchy I did not purchase from Amazon, purchased from Best Buy. @Christopher, definitely! If munchy does not go through with the sale it is yours.
