It's white, I just realized that I marked it as black! Haha thanks for the reminder but yep it's a white back. (I do the same thing with the iPhones from time to time, go by the front color forgetting that they are determined by the back.)
Where was this phone originally purchased? Just trying to figure out if it works on Sprint

Bought it off amazon about 4-5 months ago. My wife was using it on ATT. It is unlocked so it can take a sim from anywhere. Sprint may be able to check for certain based on the ESN number.
May I ask where you verified that it will work on Sprint? I'd hate to buy it, and not be able to use it.
If sprint provides GSM network connectivity than only it will works. This device will not support CDMA.
Couple things here. I spoke with someone on Sprints website and used the chat function. The nexus 5 works with both GSM and CDMA carriers, accept for Verizon. It has bands to support both network types.
The Nexus 5 is kinda tricky tho. Although they are all basically the same, Sprint will only activate the ones purchased from the Google Play Store or directly from Sprint. If you bought it originally from let's say Best Buy or another carrier, Sprint won't activate it.
Allison the battery life is average no better or worse than an android phone from that time. The nexus 5 and even 5x were never really great on battery. My wife says she charged it two to three times a day when using it continually. Things like facebooking, playing games, some YouTube
Donald I wasn't aware of sprints strict policies on that. Makes sense, they want to drive business for themselves.
