Apple released two versions of the 13” MacBook Pro in 2020. The first, an Intel-powered model was released in May, and the second, an Apple M1-powered model was released in November. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13” was released in June 2022, and serves as a follow up to the M1-powered MacBook Pro from May 2022. The MacBook Pro 13” 2022 is powered by an Apple M2 chip, and otherwise, shares the same design and many of the same specs as the MacBook Pro 13” 2020 with the M1 chip.
