Apple introduced the 12.9” iPad Pro in September 2015, and this model marked the beginning of the iPad Pro line. Key features touted by Apple at the launch included support for the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard, as well as an “epic” 12.9” Retina display with a resolution of 2732 x 2048, a PPI of 264, and a 400 nits max brightness.
