I am not a big streamer, gamer, or surfer...but, I do love taking pics with my Note 9. I am looking for a phone that's got a better camera, and it's not an iphone.

It's hard to beat the picture quality you can get from a Pixel phone. Even older models like the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL can take phenomenal photos.

Both Pixel 4 sizes have dual rear cameras (12MP wide-angle with f/1.7 lens, 16MP telephoto with f/2.4 lens and 2x optical zoom) -- and both pack advanced computational photography features like Live HDR+, Dual Exposure Controls, Night Sight with Astrophotography, and more. They've also got 90 Hz displays for smooth motion, a powerful Snapdragon 855 chip, 6GB RAM, and secure face unlock.

If Samsung is more up your alley, you can upgrade a year and pick up a Galaxy S10, which also has a good camera and is well within your budget. Or if you want to stick with the Note line, the Note 10 might justify the price bump.
