A Galaxy wearable is a line of devices made by Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy wearable lineup includes fitness bands and smartwatches. The current generation of Samsung Galaxy fitness bands include the Galaxy Fit, and the current generation of Samsung Galaxy smartwatches include the Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, and the Galaxy Watch Active2.

Samsung currently offers three smartwatch models; the Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, and the Galaxy Watch Active2. These smartwatches are all water-resistant to 50 meters per ISO standard 22810:2010. The Galaxy watch can be submerged in water, but Samsung states the device should not be exposed to fast-flowing water and should be rinsed with fresh water if used in saltwater or chlorinated water.

Galaxy watch retail pricing for the Galaxy Watch begins at $260, at $180 for the Galaxy Watch Active, and at $250 for the Galaxy Watch Active2. However, buying a used model directly from another Swappa user means you can get a cheaper price.

The Galaxy watch will work with an iPhone, however, some features will be limited and/or unavailable. Samsung has said iPhone users will not be able to reply to messages from their watch, and that some S Health features and some Samsung device-only features such as Samsung Pay will be unavailable. Additionally, when paired with an iPhone, a Galaxy watch can only download free apps and Watch-specific apps from the Samsung Galaxy Apps store. The Samsung Galaxy watch can be paired with the iPhone 5 or newer and running iOS 9.0 or later.

The best Samsung tablet at this time is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, or the Galaxy Tab S5e if you are looking for something less expensive. The Galaxy Tab S6 features a 10.5-inch display, up to 15 hours of battery life, a Snapdragon 855 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and offers a PC-like desktop experience when using DeX with the BookCover Keyboard. The Galaxy Tab S5e also features a 10.5-inch display, however, it is a few hundred dollars cheaper as compared to the Galaxy Tab S6 due to having less RAM, less internal storage, and a Snapdragon 670 processor.

Some Samsung tablets can be used as a phone. This is done using the Samsung Call & Text functionality and can be set up with select Samsung tablets and select wireless carriers. You will need an active Samsung smartphone, and you will need to be using the same Samsung account on both the phone and tablet. Once you have Call & Text set up on your smartphone and Samsung tablet you will be able to send messages and also make and answer calls.

Samsung uses the Android operating system for tablets. The specific version of Android may vary based on the model and the original release date. The current generation of Samsung tablets run a newer version of Android. The Galaxy Tab S6 launched with Android 9.0 Pie and is upgradable to Android 10.0. The Galaxy Tab S5e is currently running Android 9.0 Pie.

It's important to note that Samsung offers a limited warranty on their products, covering any defects that occurred during the manufacturing process for a set period. This means that things like broken screens, batteries with short lives, and other problems that arise as a part of regular use aren't covered. That said, you should make sure you talk to your repair provider about what may or may not fall under the warranty.
