iPhone 16 Series

The iPhone 16 series, introduced in September 2024, includes the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The standard models feature a 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, while the Pro models offer larger 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays respectively. All models incorporate the Dynamic Island interface and are protected by a next-generation Ceramic Shield, claimed to be 50% tougher than its predecessor. The displays support HDR with 1000 nits typical brightness, 1600 nits peak HDR brightness, and 2000 nits peak outdoor brightness. A new feature across the lineup is a 1 nit minimum brightness. The Pro models maintain ProMotion technology for smoother scrolling. Key upgrades include the A18 chip supporting Apple Intelligence, a new Camera Control button, and the Action button now available on all models. The devices also feature enhanced camera capabilities, including a 48MP main camera and support for spatial photo and video capture.
