Zip splits your purchase into 4 easy installments. Your first payment is due at checkout. Zip will bill the remaining three payments to your credit or debit card automatically, every two weeks.

Signing up for Buy Now, Pay Later is easy.
- Select Buy Now, Pay Later from the payment screen at checkout.
- Zip will ask for your mobile number and a few personal details such as your name, date of birth, and where you live. (Don’t worry; there’s no hard credit check, so this won’t impact your credit score.)
- Continue through the checkout process like normal. Simple as that.
Buy Now, Pay Later is open to nearly every Swappa member. In order to use Buy Now, Pay Later, you must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Live in the US
- Have a valid mobile number
- Make your purchase using a valid credit or debit card
Based on current US state tax laws, Swappa is required to calculate and collect sales tax for transactions destined to states where marketplace facilitator taxes apply. Swappa keeps a list of these states on Swappa's primary taxes page here.
Swappa does not charge any additional fees for calculating taxes, and the collection process applies to all sales on Swappa regardless of where the seller is located, as this is generally calculated according to the buyer’s shipping address. However, some states may calculate taxes based on where the seller is located. Read more here.
Swappa verifies listings before they go live, so returns are extremely rare. However, items are occasionally damaged in shipping and a return has to be made.
Contact Swappa Support and open a support ticket to initiate a return. After a return is approved, Swappa will notify Zip. Once Zip is notified, all future payments will be canceled, and you will get a full refund for what you’ve paid so far. In the event of a partial refund, future installments are reduced or canceled first, and paid installments are refunded after.
