Received laptop

Computer wasn't factory reset. Everything else was great.

Shipped promptly; item just as described.
However while the user data had been deleted and the trash emptied, etc. no clean install had been done on the machine. Thus there were some "artifacts" of the previous owner here and there around the system. The seller shipped it with a generic log in password and a post it note containing the password...which would not have been needed with a clean system install.

I now understand that it is swappa policy to require this and they have a help page to show sellers how to do it.

I ran malware detection on the device and am doing the clean system install myself.

The phone itself is fine. I was not happy with amount of time it took between making my payment and receiving this phone. If there had been extenuating circumstances and the seller had told me there would have been a delay of more than the two business days Swappa wanted, I would have been fine with that. Please communicate better with your next customers.
