This seller supposedly sent us a new phone. When we attempted to activate it with Verizon, it took 6 HOURS because this phone was associated with another number and eSIM. This was NOT a new phone, and when the seller was confronted, he still claimed it was. We will never buy from this seller again, and we may even be done with Swappa because this is the second bad experience in a row we’ve had. HORRIBLE seller. DO NOT BUY from him!
Disappointed. I do not recommend this seller as my item was not shipped until 1 full week after the purchase. Swappa's shipping policy is the purchased item is required to be shipped with in two days of the purchased item.
When I inquired about shipping and canceling my order, Swappa informed me of the shipping policy and Jake rudely demanded "Be Patient".
Regardless if there was a national holiday or not, the seller violated the Swappa shipping policy and demonstrated the lowest level of customer service. I ordered another item from another small business which was ordered the same day (June 30th) and was delivered Monday 3rd. Yet Jake/seller blamed July 4th as an excuse of why he was slow in shipping... yet STILL refused shipping for an entire week from date of purchase.
As I been a loyal user & advocate of Swappa for roughly 7yrs, this transaction has been the only bad experience. I encourage all buyers to look elsewhere for product needs.
Did not ship for 7 days, used the excuse of the July 4th holiday. But Swappa rules state to ship within 2 business days, I asked for some concession which Swappa backed be up on (10% requested off) but seller failed to respond at all.
The iPad was shipped with little protection in a Priority Mail flat rate letter envelope (!) He is so lucky it wasn’t destroyed!
In closing, the “good” condition rating was (just) met. Battery seems strong and only minor scratches.
Beware - there are risks with this seller.
Worst seller I have EVER come across on Swappa. Sold me a device that wouldn't hold a charge and then died entirely. Seller refused a refund, accused me of buyers remorse, waited days between responses and only answered when Swappa got involved. The only way I got my money back was through a paypal dispute which took nearly two months because he refused to respond to them either. Dragged the whole process out as long as possible. I still lost money on the deal because I had to pay to ship the device back. Swappa won't help you at all so if you have bad luck and get a broken device, get ready to either lose your money or wait months to get it back. Check the negative reviews, I wish I had. Seller is an absolute joke.
Seller didnt ship within swappa required timeframe. Initially wouldnt respond to inquiries but did after pressing a bit more. Responded in a condescending and rude nature and tried to gas light me, telling me it was mailed in the designated timeframes. He would rather be rude/condescending and gaslight his customers than admit fault.
After sale support is nonexistent. Good luck if you have an issue with your purchase because the seller will accuse you of buyers remorse and won't let you return. Stay away.
Completely ignored my request for almost a week, even though it was made less than 10 minutes after purchasing. Communication was nearly non-existent and disregarded what I've said with no care and lack of support with issues that could have quickly been avoided if communication was one of their priorities.
My device came with a cracked screen.
Wasn't charged at all, and charger wasn't original so it took many hours to charge up.
7.20.22 Just realized there is no camera app installed at all!? Not sure how to fix this.
7.22 please respond to my email and calls on how to fix the missing camera. This was not mentioned in the description, sale states in good condition.
Wow, just keeps getting worse. Now the microphone doesn't work!?
