Purchase Protection & Eligibility
- All purchases qualify for PayPal Purchase Protection, ensuring items arrive as advertised.
- If an item is not as described, it may be returned for a refund per return conditions below.
Returns & Cancellations
- Returns must adhere to Swappa policies and the item’s original condition.
- Cancellations incur a fee: 3.49% + $0.49 (domestic) or 5% (international).
- Refunds accepted within 14 days of delivery, with:
- A 10% restocking fee or $15 minimum.
- 30% restocking fee if a new item is opened.
- Damaged items must be reported within 1 day of receipt—claims beyond this timeframe fall under buyer responsibility.
Warranty & Repairs
- A 14-day warranty covers defects; repairs or replacements will be provided.
- Unauthorized repairs void warranty. If repair/replacement isn’t possible, a refund will be issued.
IMEI/Serial & Fraud Prevention
- IMEI/serial numbers are shared via Swappa messages before shipping.
- Returns with unmatched IMEI/serials will not be accepted.
- Claims of non-receipt result in IMEI being blacklisted as lost/stolen.
- Fraudulent activity is reported to relevant authorities, including PayPal and IC3.
Return Condition & Restocking Fees
- Items must be returned in original condition with all accessories.
- Returns missing components may incur up to a 50% restocking fee.
- Issues must be reported within 1 day; failure to do so may affect return eligibility.
- Buyer mishandling (physical or liquid damage) may lead to up to a 50% restocking fee.
- Returns beyond 14 days without reported issues may also incur up to a 50% restocking fee.
Return Process & Shipping
- Buyers are responsible for safe packing/shipping; tracking & insurance recommended.
- Devices must be reset before return to avoid additional fees:
- iPhone/iPad: Settings ? General ? Reset ? Erase All Content & Settings
- Samsung: Settings ? About ? Reset
- Failure to reset may result in a 50% restocking fee.
