Phone was not mint as listed. It was still in good condition, but photos were manipulated to not show damaged area. More disappointing, I contacted the seller and they minimized my concern, offered to take phone back at my expense and claimed that even with the damage it was worth what I paid. I am overall happy with the phone (as damage is mostly covered by the case), but would not recommend working with this seller.

Phone had a damaged charging port, I noticed immediately and contacted the seller within hours of receiving shipment. When I contacted the seller for a refund he was combative and rude, accused me of lying, then tried to charge me a 15% restock fee that was not mentioned in the original listing. Swappa had to advise him not to charge an undisclosed restock fee.
After he received the returned phone and proving there was an issue with the charge port (he uploaded a picture of the phone that confirmed the video showing the issue I added to the sale page) he still insisted phone was not damaged. Eventually I got a full refund but the experience was enough to put me off buying anything on Swappa again. Avoid this seller.

OK, I realize that I was probably the one or two percent of folks who receive a device that is bad...
And in fairness the phone did look great and matched the 'Mint' condition from a physical perspective.
However, in the end it could NOT be activated onto a carrier network because the previous owner had basically 'stolen' the phone as there was an outstanding $1200 balance that was never paid to Verizon.
So, this of course renders the phone useless to any new buyer.

What surprises me (and maybe this is an industry wide issue and not just this reseller) is that this could not be discovered prior to resale.
I mean...is there not a database at Verizon that could alert resellers that a specific IEMI number is on a 'Hot-List' and blocked from usage?
I had have to learn this on my own through multiple calls to Verizon.

In the end the seller promptly returned all of my purchase money immediately after they received the device back, which was greatly appreciated. :)
