Communication was very poor. I was unfamiliar with unlocking, and felt I'd maybe made a mistake buying it. I asked the seller 4 questions after clicking buy, and the seller only responded once with a cut and paste from Straight Talk's website. Then promptly shipped the device without any further discussion. It was my mistake to purchase something without fully understanding unlocking, but it was poor form on the sellers part to not communicate effectively with me about it.
