Polite. Inaccurate. Costly. That’s how I’d summarize this experience. The seller was respectful and apologetic, which I appreciated. But the phone was listed as unlocked and mint—two details that mattered. It arrived locked, and while the condition was very good, “mint” shaped my decision. The included case had a circular mark on the back, likely from a magnet, not shown in the listing photos. The seller shared a Boost email screenshot as proof of unlock, but never confirmed it in the phone’s settings. I followed every step Boost requested—update, reset, even bought a new cable—for a second unlock attempt. It failed. Refund came after follow-up, with no offer to cover return shipping or acknowledge the time and energy spent. Future buyers: ask for a screenshot of “No SIM restrictions” from Settings > General > About—with IMEI visible to prove it’s the actual device.
