Why repair devices?

Worldwide, approximately 40 million tons of Electronic Waste is thrown out. That’s like throwing away 800 laptops every second. Out of this e-waste, less then 15% is recycled and 85% is sent to landfills where toxic materials seep out significantly effecting not only the environment but our own health.

So, what can we do?

Repairing and appropriately recycling our devices are the best steps we can take to help reduce our ecological footprint. At Wireless Hive, our passion and goals are to help play our role in conserving the environment.

We want to significantly decrease the amount of e-waste unnecessarily sent to landfills, and this isn’t very difficult to do. We’ve found most issues that arise from electronics can be repaired or resolved for less cost than the purchase of a new device. Of course, if it can’t be repaired, we will responsibly recycle it for free. We also buy and sell refurbished phones and computers to give our customers as many options as they need.
