Swappa staff must verify the identity of users making CCPA requests via email by collecting information such as first and last name, email address, dates of purchases or sales, date of account creation, or other relevant data points that can be matched with Swappa's records.

Consumers can designate an authorized agent to make CCPA requests for the consumer. Authorized agents acting on the behalf of users must provide to Swappa written permission from the consumer for the authorized agent to make such requests. The authorized agent may be required to verify its identity with Swappa.
