Swappa users review their experience with Total Wireless service and coverage.

I have had Total Wireless for about 5 years in the DC area. This is definitely a good budget option if you can still get the plans they offered before Verizon bought them, but I am not sure that is possible.
The good:
- Tethering
- Inexpensive
- Autopay
- Speeds
The bad:
- Your data gets de-prioritized in congested areas. This happens frequently when sitting in traffic or just being in a crowded place.
- Since being bought by Verizon they seem to be trying to trick users into accidentally switching to a more expensive plan.

Great reception even in the sticks, where I am, but God help you if you do need to talk to customer service. Pro Tip: Always make sure cashiers scan the right barcodes on the card!

I have 4 lines of service with 100gb of data to share between the 4 lines. They use Verizon towers so here the signal is great. Had ATT before this, they are a JOKE. No signal, very expensive and was told a bunch of lies about service and plan discounts.
Been with Total Wireless for about 4 months so far, they are WAY better then ATT and signal strength is as good as Verizon.

Verizon MVNO 4 lines less than $100 with auto pay good coverage but if you need their support you'll need to have a lot of patience one of the worst support experiences I've had
