Hi Greg, if you would commit to sharing the IMEI number after I pay for the phone, to allow me to quickly check that my carrier does not have this IMEI in a "do not accept" database when I eventually qualify for a trade in, and reverse the transaction if the IMEI is rejected by Tmobile, then I will buy at your stated price right away. For your safety the IMEI cannot normally be shared in this open forum. Thanks
Hi Gijon. I have been scammed in the past. I am not comfortable giving the IMEI number. I can only ask that you have faith in Swappa's Background Checks: I have provided the IMEI privately to Swappa. They run checks against the GSMA global blocklist to ensure the device isn't stolen or blacklisted.
**I also found the following on Gemini - Verify Compatibility: If you are unsure if a phone works with your carrier, use the Swappa Compatibility Guide instead of asking for the IMEI directly.
