is there a way to unlock the phone?
I don't think it is locked. It turns on, it does everything it needs to do. We erased the entire thing and it seems just like a new phone. How would I know if it was locked?
well you listed the phone as Verizon only , by saying "unlock" i meant if i could use other carriers with the phone
@alzz Verizon phones are automatically unlocked for use with other carriers 60 days after their initial activation.
So yes, it is unlocked!
