Hello and thanks for your interest. The small box is actually on the front. It is the Satechi Clamp Hub USB-C (3X-USB-A) (1XUSB-C) & (Micro & SD card reader). It is a convenient hub that is clamped onto the front of the screen to access your ports without having to go to the back of the screen. It makes it very easy to copy from your computer to a flash drive or attach your backup drive.

do you know if you are able to install Windows through bootcamp on this device?
It is my understanding you can install windows 10 first then windows 11, with bootcamp, with macOS Tahoe. Windows 11 is sensitive to which processor your system has. I believe this processor would qualify. There are other options of having windows without using bootcamp.
