​My primary concern is whether the device is a carrier-locked version (e.g., Verizon) or an unlocked variant. Verizon models, and some others, often have a bootloader that is permanently locked, which would make the device unsuitable for my needs.

​Could you please provide the model number and confirm if the device was purchased directly from Google or a specific carrier?
This information is critical to determine if the bootloader can be unlocked.

I don't have the phone in front of me right now but I did purchase this directly from Google as an unlocked phone when it was released. I can come back with the model number in a day or two.

Sounds like a plan because as you have stated, the device was purchased directly from Google which leaves me to believe that it's indeed factory unlocked and not carrier unlocked.

My purchase history from 2021 shows the product as "Pixel 6 Pro Stormy Black 256 GB (Unlocked)".

Unfortunately the model is listed as "Pixel 6 Pro" in the Android settings so I do not have more to share. I am very confident that this is an unlocked model.

What happened to cause the damage in the right hand corner? Does everything else work?

Everything else works and the screen overall has no other issues. I'd guess I dropped it on the corner at some point, but I'm not entirely sure.

I am guessing in the settings you can set it so the phone displays you the percent of the battery remaining? When you have the percent show normally it shows to the right of the battery icon. Are you able to see the percent of battery left with the damaged screen in that corner of the phone?
