Damage Description

The battery life down to 19 WHr according to the diagnostic tests, which I have found corelates to about 1.5 hours of use. Battery replacements are normal at this age.
The Brightness hotkeys on F3, F4, and F9 need to have hotkey software installed to make them work, but brightness can be changed in the Windows settings as normal.
The number "6" key on the Ten Key is less sensitive than it should be. It requires a slightly firmer press when using the Ten Key, but it's consistent.

Have you noticed any overheating while using it with the charger bring plugged in?

I haven't experienced any overheating with the charger plugged in. My mom and my brother both have this same laptop model, and my brother's laptop is running strong on the original battery. I replaced the battery in my mom's laptop with an off market battery on Amazon because it wouldn't hold a charge, and it's run well for the last two years on the new battery.
