Damage Description

There are some slight scuffs on the sharp corners at the edges along the long side of the MacBook, where the trackpad sits — i.e. the area where your hands would sit when you would be using it. This is unfortunately a very common occurrence with the Space Black models. They keys also show some wear, but nothing out of the ordinary. The underside of the MacBook also has an area that is slightly discolored (you will see all of this in the photographs) because I used the Moft adhesive stand with it for a year. Personally I love the Moft stand, so you could stick it right back on and no one would ever see this minor discoloration, but it is up to you (the stand is included).

Back in April I had the display panel replaced on this MBP, which I originally purchased on March 8, 2024. It found light use for a year, as proven by the 100% battery capacity!

When that year of AppleCare was coming up, I had the display replaced by Apple (it had a tiny scratch). Now it has a beautiful, pristine new display! You can see the receipt I've included amongst the many photos within the listing.

Once I had the display replaced, I realized I wanted a larger MacBook, so I bought a 16" Pro here on Swappa. I started to exclusively use that computer starting at that same time, back in April 2025 (can provide receipt as requested). Thus, I'm finally getting around to selling this.

I just canceled my (newer, monthly) AppleCare on this 14" and Apple is now offering for me to renew it... so there is a CHANCE you may be able to add this. We could look into this (can't promise!)

Hi Eduardo — just seeing this! Tempted! I just posted this less than 24 hours ago, so I am inclined to see if I could get the current $1,320 that I have it listed for, since the shipping will eat a chunk out of that. I could be more inclined to do $1,300, i.e. 'meet in the middle' if that was of interest to you'

Also, as I mentioned very briefly about the AppleCare (Swappa has a 1000 character limit for all listing descriptions). I once had a one-year annual AppleCare plan on the MBP. Then, after both calling Apple Support and doing their Live Chat support, I got them to convert me over to a monthly AppleCare. Supposedly month-to-month AppleCare is not transferrable... but then maybe two hours after I canceled it, I was already getting offers to renew the AppleCare coverage on the same MBP. It's much less cut and dry than it used to be. Maybe they are offering it because now they want people to sign up for their new "AppleCare One" which is one of the three options that I am being given as a renewal option. It is showing that I have 45 days left to opt to renew. SO I can NOT guarantee by any means that you would be able to get AppleCare put onto this MBP, but I have a feeling that if you were persistent with their Customer Support and/or opted for AppleCare One, then you MAY be able to.

I'm providing all of this info purely for the sake of transparency because I don't want to get your hopes up if you were banking on adding AppleCare, as it is by no means a certain possibility based on the transference of ownership (it's just odd that it's offering me to renew it yet again... so it could do the same for you? Who knows...!)

Here was the further fine print on the offer I was given to renew: Recommendations identify AppleCare savings based on your Apple Account, devices, and coverage. Theft and Loss claims are for Apple Watch, iPhone, and iPad, Each claim is subject to a deductible. Claim limits reset every 12 months: 2 claims under AppleCare+ and 3 under AppleCare One. Service fees apply to all service events except battery and functional failure. View service fees and deductibles. In NY, call or email us to purchase Theft and Loss separately.
