Is the bootloader open to install custom rom?

No, the bootloader is locked and as far as I know it is currently very difficult to bootloader unlock the chinese version

Hi, as this is the Chinese version of the phone Google Play is not installed by default, however you just need to download it from the included app store. I can install it after resetting the phone as well if you would like
