Damage Description
For the vintage, this iPhone 7 is in great shape. There are some small nicks on the side rails, and the screen has some light scratches on the upper right side. These are highlighted in the photos, and I've taken them at the most unflattering angles to show them at their worst. But in normal light, they are hard to see, and when the screen is on, you don't see them at all.

For sale is an iPhone 7. I used this for the longest time to manage the parental controls for my kid's iPhones. So, it hasn't seen a lot of action in the past few years. Given the age, I think it is in great shape. I have emphasized the few scratches on the screen by taking the photos in bright sunlight so that there will be no surprises with the phone.

Is it able to take off the parental controls when you use it and does the camera still work good even not in sunlight

It has no parental controls on it (although you can add them if you want), and the camera seems to work very well.
So if I go through with buying this phone for $38 it says on here you will be selling me the phone in the photos shown above? Am I understanding that correctly? And this is all legit and everything?

Yes, the phone is the one shown in the photos. Swappa is a legitimate site for selling and buying phones, and there are some protections for both buyer and seller, especially if you purchase through Swappa, which I believe uses Paypal to offer protections. Someone from the Swappa staff may be able to speak more about the protections offered.
