Where did you buy it from yesterday? Is it a retail place that gives a regular receipt I can use to purchase AppleCare?

I’m asking aboutAppleCare because I’ve never purchased a new smartphone…This phone costs almost 2x the priciest one I’ve had so far, but the idea has always been to make sure that replacing the phone wouldn’t be too painful if it broke. If I spend over $500, its important to me that it’s safe to count on the phone lasting a long time.

Cannot add AppleCare. 60 days after purchase for that. Unfortunately this wasn’t used but that expired.

Hmmmm.....yes nearly impossible to find a new one......so please do tell where you bought this. I'm sure you can understand the skepticism since many of these are marketed as "new" on eBay coming from china.....which of course they are not new. In my opinion you should have no problem disclosing where you got this. Thank you.

Absolutely. Long story short a friend of mine got this as a buy one get one and was giving it to his daughter when she turned 13. When that time came she wanted the bigger phone, so he ended up getting that. I bought it off of him as I love the mini… but I use my phone for work too much, and the battery just can’t keep up.

Hmmmmm....thank you but that doesn't reveal where it was bought. I'll tell ya what......if you can get your friend to produce the receipt (should be in his email history) and display it here AND it's shows a legitimate purchase location....eg. Best Buy, Amazon, Apple.com etc......I'll pay your asking price.

Not asking him to try and do that. Regardless of where he got it, doesn’t matter to me as it was sealed. Phone is perfect in every way and ready to go. If you don’t want it, move on and try to find one somewhere else.
