My stop gap
I needed an upgrade from my failing pixel 4a, I didn't have success at first replacing it for talk & text until I got this Pixel 7, I can confirm AT&T (cricket wireless) will accept this device on their network. I belive it is carrier unlocked but I'm not sure how to verify, I know it just worked for me.
Googles android OS is a battery hog, I would reccomend installing calyx OS to get the most out of this device, I have not yet done this but can flash another operating system that dosent drain the battery to death upon request, free.
Using battery saver mode 24/7 is a must, as I have researched "that's just how it is" for the pixel 7 because of Googles background apps always draining, and not being able to be turned off in settings.
This phone has served me well while it filled the role I needed it for. It's quite large in the hand, selling it as I have already replaced it with the phone I actually wanted to begin with.
