I'm looking for a budget Pixel 8 and since it's already been repaired and had no water resistance I was wondering if you would be able to let us wrap up the deal at $210 for a quick sale?

It had its screen replaced by google and is 100% back to normal, water resistance included.

No offense but $210 (32% less than listed) is craaazy lmao. Shopping around, I've seen Pixel 8s in this condition or worse for usually around $275-350 with a median of like $315. So I think your listing seems promising.

Screen condition is important to me, so it’s good that you were able to have it covered by the extended warranty and replaced. I also care about camera lens scratches, battery health, and complete internal functionality (no performance, temperature, or hardware issues). What can you tell me about those things? I know Swappa supposedly makes you check them but I’m new here and I want to understand.

Also the story with the screen checks out; I've heard of phones being recalled for those issues because my OWN Pixel 8 had a screen issue that unfortunately didn't fall under that warranty. Actually, I returned that one to the seller I got it from here on this site, since it happened a week after arriving, had nothing to do with me, and after all the troubleshooting I did including getting in contact with Google Support, it still wouldn't reboot or become responsive again after suddenly shutting off. And that was the REPLACEMENT that SellWorld sent me after the first one had dust in the front camera lens under the screen T_T. Didn't waste any money since I did at least get refunded, but I wasted a month of sitting around without a phone (I've been borrowing my brother's and it's killing me lol)

Like I said, I’m new to Swappa but I’ve quickly learned my lesson that not every seller with lots of good reviews is a good seller. What I’ve realized I need to do is find someone I trust who can tell me the history of the phone and answer questions about the specific device I’m looking at purchasing. You seem to fit that! Especially since you’ve been on here for ~7 years and have only received positive feedback. I trust someone like that, even with less “data points” with dozens of sales, more than I’ve learned to trust big companies that are just moving stock.

I always ran this with the 80% battery rule enabled, which means the battery health should be about as good as could be. No scratches on the camera that I can see. No issues with it at all. I wouldn't have replaced it, I just wasn't willing to spend a week with no phone so I bought a Pixel 9 and figured I'd sell the 8 when it came back.
