Description

Carefully used Google Pixel 9 Peony in pristine condition. The phone was always kept in a case and had a tempered glass screen protector on.

There are no visible signs of wear and tear other than a minor amount of dust and lint.

The phone is the U.S. model G2YBB but flashed with the Japanese model G1B60 to enable NFC-F (Suica/PASMO) functionality (reversible; can revert back to the original model number before shipping).

Will ship the phone in original manufacturer packaging and include the Ringke MagSafe case and tempered glass screen protector.

Feel free to ask me any question regarding the phone. Thank you for viewing.

What does it mean when you say reverse to original model number before shipping? Just wondering

To keep a long story short, I modified the system file devinfo.img to change the model number from the US Model G2YBB to JP Model G1B60 so that it will enable NFC-FeliCa support so I can NFC tap pay on transit systems in Japan. I can edit the model number back so that it is the same as when the phone originally shipped.

The upside is you enable NFC-F support, the downside is that the shutter sound is always enabled on the camera (anti-paparazzi law in JP), and you can't open the Google Wallet app from the notification drop-down menu (but opening the app itself and lock screen tap to pay still function as intended). There are no root on the phone as it was factory reset and bootloader locked after the model number is changed so Google Play protect function as intended. OTA update works as intended as well as it got the Android 16 update, but I understand some people would like their phone to be close to original specs as possible, I am just disclosing what I modified on the phone for transparency reasons.

Is the tempered glass screen protector able to be removed?
