Listing approved. Thanks for using Swappa.

Hey Paul, can you please do $95 because an unopened new A16 just sold for $100 recently. Need to get it for a student in urgent need of a cell phone. Much appreciated!

I'd be happy to consider this, but can you please tell me where a NIB A16 5G sold for only $100? The cheapest I have seen one was for $130.

Here you go: https://swappa.com/listing/view/LZHG25180

It was sold for $100 unopened

Wow. Wild too. I have just listed this so, I do not thinks now is the right time to reduce the price as far as you suggest ($95) But, I guess I will go down to $105.

I reduced the price by $5.

- Aug 07, 2025 - 06:57 PM

Dear Paul, can you please do $99? Thanks for your consideration. Much appreciated!

I'm sorry, but I decided not to reduce the price any further. This phone is in mint condition, and includes a case, screen protector and original packaging.

- Aug 08, 2025 - 02:16 PM

Thank you for considering. I understand that your cell has a screen protector and you are offering a protection case so it make sense to charge more. I just purchased a brand new A16 for $100 which was my budget: https://swappa.com/listing/view/LZHY50319

Wow. You got a great deal. Congratulations. Please excuse a dumb question (I'm new to Swappa). Doesn't the seller have to pay shipping costs of the phone? Wild that the seller could make the financial deal work w/o going in the red.

- Aug 09, 2025 - 12:48 AM

Yes, the seller pays the shipping on Swappa and the buyer pays the sales tax on the purchase. Most individual sellers are selling their used phones so they take the depreciation and the businesses here are selling phones which they purchased for cheap/repaired/refurbished for a profit. I don’t want my comments to hurt your price so please feel free to remove this ad post and re-list/post the ad for your phone on swappa. Your price is fair and you have to wait a couple days before the right person purchases your phone. Good luck!

I have the phone priced at $100 now. I bought the phone from eBay for $135.99 and it was delivered to me on May 28. I only used it for a couple of months. It's practically new.

Is it possible to unlock it from Tmobile

Paul R. Seller

In simple terms, yes, it is possible, but it would be costly. I love T-Mobile, so I never looked into it. FWIW, the phone is paid for in full, so that satisfies one of the eligibility criteria. But, I am on a prepaid plan, so it would take about a year of service to satisfy the other eligibility criteria.
