Do you have the picture of the Thunderbolt wear you are referring to? Any wear on the keyboard/touchpad? The picture is not clear.

I added another picture @swappami. The wear on the ports is just from the plugs going in and it wears down the space grey coating a bit right around the edge. No wear on the keyboard/touchpad.

Can you please check the pictures? The trackpad and keyboard shows lot of coloredness. Is it from cleaning?

I had just wiped it down so that is why it looks like that in the pictures. There is some slight wear on the spacebar and the tab key it looks like, but otherwise looks fine.

Is it yours from the beginning, or did you buy it from someone else? Has it ever been repaired or had its parts replaced?

Yup mine from the beginning, would have been bought right around the M3 Pro/Max release time.

Nothing has ever been replaced or repaired. Outside of a business trip in the past year it has never left my desk.

The only concern I have is the keys (space, tab etc.) having the fade/wear. Not sure if the keys will start sticking soon.

I kept the keyboard clean and used an air duster on them frequently so there shouldn’t be any build up that would cause sticking. Anything you see in the picture is just some fading

@swappami if you want it, I’d be willing to go down to 1800 to alleviate your concern on the keyboard
