Does the aftermarket screen installed make the phone have any inherent problems?

No it functions as it should with the exception of not having auto brightness and the True Tone feature , but this is normal with aftermarket screen replacements.

Actually now that I’m looking at it more closely, true tone is still there but auto brightness is not

Hi. Does the device accept Kuwaiti SIM cards? Or is it locked and not working?

As mentioned in the listing description, the device is unlocked. But It does not use physical SIM cards though, this is the North American model that is eSIM only. It will work outside of the USA, but with eSIM only.
