I just spoke with Apple support and they assured me it is fully transferable. If you were to purchase it, I would have to call them back and transfer the service to you. If there were any problem, this would be covered under Swappa's return policy, as it would not be as advertised, but I can assure you it is active until October 2027 and fully transferable. There is a photo in the listing showing the Apple Care coverage.
