Could you check please if your iPhone is locked to a specific carrier, navigate to Settings > General > About If you see "No SIM restrictions" next to "Carrier Lock,"
Yes, the iPhone does currently have a Sim restriction that is locked to Metro by T-Mobile. I included a picture as well.
Any chances to get it unlocked?
It's locked to metro for one year from its activation date but it'll unlock after that to connect for any carrier.

Mi teléfono está actualmente bloqueado a Metro por T-Mobile en los Estados Unidos. Esto significa que ahora mismo, solo funcionará con Metro. Sin embargo, el teléfono se puede desbloquear después de un año.
