Never used ASUS Zenfone 10 512GB

Bought this phone in The Netherlands (because somehow it was cheaper).
However, coming from a Samsung not all my apps were converted so I went back to another Samsung (you may judge me). the factory seal is broken, but the phone has never been used (practically new).
Comes with an additional case as well as a screen protector, your choice if you want to install it.
I have reset the phone to factory settings.

How do you contact the seller to ask a clarifying question about their phone they've listed for sale?

Please note that sellers should not share IMEI information nor are buyers permitted to ask for it. This FAQ page explains why: http://swappa.com/faq/sell/share-esn-numbers

Additionally, I'd like a clarification of what "Non-US" means. Thanx.

Hey Folks,

Wondering if you might know when a seller will/might be available to reply to a couple of previously submitted listing (LZGK43858) questions.
Thanks.

Non-US means that the phone was bought overseas and is usually either a "global" variant of the phone as opposed to the unlock phone you can purchase through ASUS.

This particular model will likely work in the US, however you maybe missing bands for the full 5G connectivity. Additionally, the charging brick is a different brick than what the US variant offers. Hopefully this helps Dean.

Javier,

Absolutely, thanks for your input. However, that covers one of my queries, but segues directly into my other info desire, that being an IMEI check, which, according to Swappa, can only be done by the current owner. That certainly should/would dispell any concern regarding domestic carrier compatibility.

You probably want to alert the Swappa staff regarding this so they can directly message the seller. I'm fairly certain for this particular unit the IMEI will work here in the states especially if you're on T-Mobile. I have T-Mobile, and all of my phones I've used have been global variants of phones that were from overseas and they work fine, some even with 5G bands.

I would also think that Swappa has to verify the IMEI is in good standing, cant afford to sell something that this wouldn't be the case.

Hi Dean,

I ran the IMEI through the website and it says the following:
Your device is partially compatible with T-Mobile’s network and you might not have an optimal experience.
Your device is not blocked from use on T-Mobile’s network.
Your phone uses a physical SIM card to hold wireless account information.

Which is in line with Javier's answer

My new Samsung Galaxy S25 was also bought in The Netherlands, I just ran this IMEI on the website and it gave me the same message.
I do have 5G (with Mint Mobile, which utilizes the T-Mobile network). Hope this helps.

Please note that the Asus Zenfone 10 does not support eSIM natively. However, it is possible to add eSIM functionality using a third-party eSIM.me card, which allows you to download eSIM profiles and manage them within a dedicated app (according to Google). I have not tested this.

Would you do $500? It is an aging phone, released 2 years ago and only getting 2 years of OS updates, this year being the last year.
