Just to confirm this is the Chinese variant not global correct
It is; however, it is not the full Chinese one - i.e., android auto, google play store, etc all work on this one.

The backup hás a scratch?
No scratches at all, it is a piece of hair. I've uploaded another photo showing as such.. no scratches
China ROM or Global Rom?
China Rom, Hong Kong version - as mentioned above, everything works and I used it on T-Mobile
Esim?
Just so u know eSIM on oppo isn’t supported in the US
great thanks, didn't know that and relied on Google search for the answer. I used a physical sim when I used the phone.
Swappa Staff, can you please remove my comment above that the phone supports eSIM in the US, per the comment from MDUB85, does not support eSIM in US.

@sam no worries just wanted to let u know. Global also doesn’t support eSIM in us despite the phone being capable.
@Ray G., lighting - reflection from the ceiling fan, the screen was off in that picture to show now scratches.
