What's the battery capacity health?

There is no built-in battery health menu in the settings app for the 5th generation iPad Air. The battery health feature isn't available for an M1 chip.

Hey, yes, you’re right, battery health isn’t built-in as a standalone feature. But you can check it through: Privacy & Security—Analytics and Improvements—Analytics Data. I’d be interesting in knowing the battery health on your listing as well.

Checked back, and I realized I made a typo: interested**

Apparently I am supposed to be looking for a file in the "Analytics Data" section called "Analytics-year-month-day-time.ips.ca.synced" to see the battery health. That file doesn't currently exist, potentially because I just started using this iPad again yesterday. I factory reset it to list on Swappa, but then logged back into it yesterday to try finding the battery health. Apparently it can take 24-48 hours for the iPad to generate this log file, so maybe it'll show up soon.

You can find the battery numbers under settings > battery > battery health. It will tell you the maximum capacity and the cycle count. Alternatively, if you have access to a Mac, you can download the free Coconut Battery app and then connect the iPad and it will tell you maximum capacity and cycle count. https://www.coconut-flavour.com/coconutbattery/

@kamehameha This model doesn’t have the battery setting as a feature like the newer ones do. But, thanks for adding another option outside of waiting on the analytics report.

I also installed Coconut Battery and it says 86.3%.
