Go to your phone's “Settings” app > “General” > “About.” Scroll down to “Carrier lock.” If you see the message “No SIM restrictions,” it means that your iPhone is unlocked

Ok - I had to contact Xfinity and file a form to unlock it - should be ready to go.

Unlock is confirmed - they gave me an unlock ticket confirmation and chat reference.

Unfortunately I did a factory reset on the phone and Incant cleft in to the phone without setting it up. I can provide the unlock ticket number, the chat reference number animals have an email confirmation from Xfinity that the phone is unlocked
